This is my all time favourite leave in hair product. If used with the rest of Joico defy damage line it helps to keep frizz down all day long! My ends looked super healthy through the day too. Not just a temporary fix for a few hours it’s an all day thing! Amazing.
I don’t often dry my hair 100% after washing I usually prefer to let air-dry so leave-in’s are a really important part of my haircare routine. That said I generally prefer sprays or lighter products not usually thicker creams as this Protective Shield seems to be. I found when I used this I tried to not have a heavy hand because I’d rather have a fly-away or too or have too much thick product on my hair right after cleansing. It seemed to do the trick but I’m not in the sun much so I don’t think I need the UV protection that this product offers.
Most protective product for hair are too heavy for my type of hair. I have super thin colored hair. This one no only gave my hair tons of volume it also didn’t leave my hair all greasy. I recommend it !
