I really love the idea of the UV protection but I don’t know if I’m expecting too much out of it. It doesn’t t really do anything to my hair. Like make it softer shinier it doesn’t smooth frizz. If it’s really doing a good job a protecting my hair then I’ll try using it with another leave in but I’m not sure if I want to buy a bottle if I don’t love it already.
If you have bleached hair like me you will want a serum to keep your hair from being damaged by the UV rays especially in the summer time. Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield is pretty much sunglasses for my hair it keeps it protected in the hot sun.
You never need a huge bottle of heat protection while you are on vacation so the size of this bottle is perfect. I like the pump applicator as it deposits the perfect amount for my hair. It’s easy to distribute and it does not leave any sticky feeling in your hair or hands. I like how this protected by hair when I was styling it and it actually helped with keeping my dreaded frizz down. It made my hair much more manageable and shiny on vacation. I like this product so much I’m going to continue to use this mini after my vacation and definitely buy more when I run out. Received for free opinions are my own.
