I love the smell of this product so much!! I have very frizzy and thick hair so I definitely need a product that really helps protect against the heat. This seems to do the trick as after straightening my hair is smooth and less frizzy than usual. This protective shield also feels super lightweight against my hair which is super nice! Definitely really liking this product so far 🙂
I thoroughly enjoyed using this heat protector! I put it on my hair before straightening and curling. It smelled really nice and helped keep my hair shiny protected and safe from the heat tools that I was using. It’s a great product to keep on hand for quick hair touch ups if you are the type of person that carries around those mini straighteners in your purse to touch up your bangs etc. and also great to bring along on trips because it’s the perfect travel friendly size!
Thanks to Chick Advisor for sending me a sample of Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield for my honest opinion. Between regularly highlighting my hair hot yoga and being in a pool I am always looking for a good leave-in treatment that doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it look greasy between washes. I have found this product to be a nice lightweight daily leave-in that checks both of those boxes. I will definitely be using this product again.
