The first product in this line I was able to try! I was impressed by the smell and how manageable my hair was after just shampooing it 🙂 It lathers and rinses easily so you can move straight to conditioner! Not sure how much it protected color or defied damage but it made my hair nice and smooth!
Likely personal preference but the smell was far too floral for me and overpowering so I won’t be repurchasing. Overall it was decently effective and I do love Joico products but because of the scent it’s a pass for me.
I enjoyed this product to travel with. It was a good size and I got a good number of washes out of it. I can’t tell if it protected against more heat damage but it was moisturizing.
