The Haircut/Styling: Half-Up/Half-Down Ponytail
- Rinse out color with Defy Damage Protective Shampoo and Conditioner
- Apply Dream Blowout Thermal Protection Creme throughout towel-dried hair and blow-dry in sections, using a large, flat paddle brush.
- Start from bottom back of the head and work your way to the top.
- Before blow drying each section, add a couple of drops of Dream Blowout to create that super-shiny, silky result.
- As you get to the front section, start blow-drying the hair upwards and away from face. This allows for a sleeker ponytail.
- To create the half-up ponytail, apply a small amount of Zero Heat Air Dry Styling Crème in the palm of your hands and work throughout hair.
- Using a boar-bristle paddle brush (or other smoothing brush), gather hair in front to create the ponytail. The product from hands will aid in giving a smooth finish to the ponytail.
- Use JoiMist Medium Finishing Spray for added hold. (You can also use a small dab of Zero Heat Dry Styling Crème to smooth hair and reduce flyaways. A clean toothbrush helps capture tiny stray hairs.)
